The end is near
No, this post/picture is not about the apocalypse that did not occur as predicted on Saturday - it's about Annie's last week of school, which you can tell from the look on her face she is NOT happy about.

First week of May
Yes, I know I am waaaay behind but I was so proud of the fact it was the first week of May when I took this picture & we already had a tomato on the vine! When the Farmer's Almanac says to plant - you plant & look at the results!
Originally I planned on documenting the growth of our garden through this blog but life is busy so maybe there will be snippets throughout the summer & then this might be the last pic.
More outdated posts to come I'm sure unless I somehow end up with more hours in the day...which I honestly would probably do something else but there is a chance I might blog.

Spring fun
...while listening to a historic speech by President Obama on the death of Osama Bin Laden I am reminded of how lucky I am to live in a free & safe country so that I can, like this picture shows, enjoy spring Saturday afternoons shopping & gardening with my sweet daughter. I thank the Lord for all the blessings in my life & the joy of living in the USA is one of which I am extremely proud & reminded of tonight.
